Each of the Ruvitex membranes that we use are designed to fulfil the requirements of any flat roof application - whether your project is a new build or a refurbishment
Ruvitex membranes are manufactured in line with stringent demands of the EU, to Provide protection for your property.
The metal Ruvitex-coated perimeter edging trims will give your flat roof a neat, crisp perimeter finish that will not deteriorate over time, as can be the case with other felt or bitumen flat roofing products.
Joints & laps are welded with a hot air gun at temperatures of up to 500 degrees; this alleviates the need for naked flames or hot bitumen tubs that are common to other flat roofing products.
The Ruvitex flat roofing materials must be installed onto a sound base, using either 18mm OSB sterling board or ply (for a cold deck) or, if the specification requires a warm deck construction then a tissue or foil faced polyurethane insulation board can be used.
Ruviplan FG Membranes are manufactured from pliable PVC reinforced with woven polyester. The PVC contains stabilisers to make the membranes resistant to both high and low temperatures, is UV-resistant, and self-extinguishing in the event of fire.
Ruviplan FG has been subjected to European accelerated weather tests and are expected to have a life expectancy of over 30 years.
Ruviplan FG Membranes are suitable for use with foil-faced rigid insulation (Warm deck) or 18mm ply or OSB Sterling board (Cold deck).
